About this product
A contoured basin that sits against the neck and shoulder to catch runoff, a soft one-piece bulb syringe, and a shoulder towel. We sell this as equipment rather than as a procedure: the basin and the towel are what stop a sink and a shirt getting soaked, and the bulb is a standard soft-tip design.
We will not print a how-to for flushing an ear, because whether that is appropriate for you and how it should be done are decisions for a licensed clinician who has looked in your ear. If you have been told to do this at home, this is a sensible set of equipment for it. If you have not, speak to someone first.

This is the one product here where the most useful thing we can tell you is to ask someone else first. We supply equipment; we do not supply a procedure.

Whether an ear should be flushed at all, and how, depends on what is going on inside it. That is not something a product page can assess, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Follow their instructions, not ours
If you have been shown how to do this, follow what you were shown. We publish no technique, no water temperature and no pressure guidance on purpose.

Set up so runoff is caught
Towel over the shoulder, basin held against the neck below the ear. This is what the set is actually for.

Wash and air dry everything afterwards
Warm soapy water for the basin and the bulb, air dried fully. The towel machine washes.

- Do not use this set if you have ear pain, drainage, a perforated eardrum, ear tubes, or a recent ear operation.
- Do not use it on a child without clinician direction.
- Stop immediately if anything hurts, and speak with a licensed clinician.

- Why are there no instructions for flushing an ear?
- Because whether it is appropriate for you, and how it should be done, is a clinical judgement. We sell the basin, the bulb and the towel, and we leave the rest to someone who can look in your ear.
- What water should I use?
- That is part of what a clinician should tell you. We deliberately do not publish a temperature or a solution here.
- Can I use this if I have ear tubes or a perforated eardrum?
- No. Do not use it at all in those cases, and speak with a licensed clinician.
